Pumpkin Patch Playgroup

Clark and I joined our playgroup buddies out at the pumpkin patch this morning. Their Halloween costumes kept them nice and warm (and cute) today as it was a bit chilly outside. It finally feels like fall today with the leaves falling and a chill in the air. We had so much fun with our friends - how cute are these little babies!?

Clark Morrison Monthly (9)

Nine is oh so fine! We are trying to savor all these sweet sweet baby moments as Clark continues to grow so fast. He is now standing all by himself and this makes us happy and sad all at the same time. Happy to see him learning new things, sad because we know in the near future he will likely take steps and become a little walker. The amount of growth that takes place during a child's first year of life is unbelievable. Truly amazing. We love you Clark - happy 9 months!

In Clark's Words:
-I'm still constantly on the go, pull up, sit down, crawl, stand up, crawl, pull up - I don't like to sit still!
-I'm saying "bababa, mamama, dadada, nanana" - I think I'm starting to recognize what "dada" means, I get so excited when dada comes home from work!
-I had my first bite of real table food today - banana pancake! I don't know what to think about eating real food, yet.
-NO TEETH yet!
-My new trick is standing all by myself!
-I know how to make the "touchdown" signal and I'm learning to "clap" (in my own little way).
-I will give "kisses" sometimes - they make mommy so happy.

Hunter Farm

We took Clark to his first pumpkin patch this weekend! We all enjoyed the hayride, petting zoo and picking out the perfect pumpkin to set on our doorstep! We look forward to continuing this tradition next year and years to come. We also met up with Aunt Linsey/Uncle Lee and Martha/Jeff for an annual Chili Cookoff. It was the perfect Fall-Filled day!

Mommy and Clark are headed back to the pumpkin patch this week with our sweet playgroup buddies!

Touchdown!

Despite some of the heartbreaking football the wolfpack is playing lately, Clark is is still enjoying his very first football season! It is so neat to see him "learning" new things. Check out his "touchdown" video below.

It's here...

Fall has finally arrived. Despite the fact that it is going to be 78 degrees here in the queen city I'm glad a new season is finally upon us. I've got my "autumn harvest" candle burning on this rainy day and it is delightful.

Clark Morrison Monthly (8)

Happy 8 months, Clark! This first year of life as parents continues to provide us with the best rewards. We are so incredibly blessed to have sweet baby Clark as our son. I know I've said it before but this age is an absolute blast. Clark is full of personality (see photo above), always on the go and showing off new "tricks" each day. Most recently he started giving us kisses! While he gives them when he wants to they melt our hearts! Here's to you sweet baby!

In Clark's Words:
-I'm an active little man, exploring all the time. I love to sneak over to Stella's water bowl and play, mommy says "no no" when I do that - what does that mean?!?!
-I'm crawling and pulling up very fast these days
-I am enjoying new snacks these days, puffs and yogurt bites even though I still have NO teeth!
-I love going for walks and runs with mama and dada
-I'm taking great naps (much different from my earlier days), 1 morning nap and 1 afternoon nap
