Happy Birthday Daddy!

January is a special month in our house, Clark and Brian's birthdays are only 15 days apart! This was Brian's second birthday as a daddy! Last year's b-day celebration he had a little newborn in his arms...

This year we have a wild little toddler on our hands! Thank you Brian, for being such a wonderful leader and provider to our little family. Thank you for being the best daddy and husband anyone could ask for. We love you and Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Clark!

We had a great weekend celebrating Clark's Birthday! On Saturday we had friends and family join us at our house for a Winter ONE-derland 1st Birthday Party! With a January birthday, right in the middle of Winter I had to get a little creative. With "snowflakes" all around and hot chocolate in our cups we stayed warm and cozy inside as we celebrated little baby Clark!

Clark Morrison Monthly (1 YEAR)!

Our baby is 1....after a birthday party yesterday and celebrating his special day today, it still hasn't sunk in that Clark is actually a 1 year old! My how time flies. We have cherished this past year, the joy of bringing home our baby from the hospital, the challenges as new parents, the rookie mistakes, the sleepless nights, the sweet cuddles, the first smile, the first giggle, the babyproofing, the crawling, the walking, the "talking", and the love that we have for this sweet boy! What an incredible year it has been for us to watch Clark grow. In honor of his 1st birthday, here's a look at the year's monthly photos...

Mimi's 80th Birthday

We celebrated Mimi's 80th Birthday last weekend in New Bern, NC. It was fun-filled Williford family reunion! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend weather wise, it was mid-60's and just gorgeous out by the water. It was a great time spent with family! We love you Mimi and Happy Birthday!

Thankfully we spent the entire day with everybody, because a certain little somebody decided he didn't want to dine out for dinner that evening. After some snacks, a little you-tube and a walk outside we packed it on up and jetted home to put Clark to bed! Sorry Mimi!

Our baby is turning 1

Just a few hours old

1 day old

Oh I could just cry thinking about how fast this past year has gone. We brought this sweet little boy home from the hospital almost 1 year ago and here we are about to celebrate his 1st Birthday. I continue to be amazed at the amount of growth and development a child goes through during their first year of life. I just can't believe Clark has turned into a little (baby) boy already! Walking and "talking", giving kisses, throwing tantrums....he's such a little person now! While I'm sad that our baby is turning 1, I know this is still only the beginning of a lifetime of memories...

2011...What a Year!

2011 was without a doubt the best year of our lives!

NYE 2010 was spent sitting at home waiting, waiting for our little one to arrive. I looked something like this...

The picture above feels like yesterday - I remember this time last year so vividly.

1 year later and NYE 2011 was spent as a family of three. We look forward to what the year 2012 has in store for us as we continue to figure out parenthood and watch our little one grow.

I guess we should buckle up...I have a feeling it's going to be a wild ride!
