Clark's Christening

Clark's Christening was held on Sunday June 26, 2011, it was an incredibly special day for our family. We presented Clark to the Lord and in front of our family and friends we promised to teach him about God and the bible. We look forward to the day when he truly understands God's love for us.

Clark wore my christening gown, also worn by Aunt Cam and Aunt Jordy

After the service, we held a brunch at our home to celebrate the occasion. We are thankful for the friends and family that surround us and are able to watch as Clark grows to love Christ.

Clark was happy as a clam throughout the service and most of brunch (naptime was a callin')...here he is just "kickin it"

Household Happenings

I just thought I would share a few "happenings" around our household. Clark is still practicing with his "sitting up", he can do it but not for long periods of time.
He is enjoying his solid foods, here he his eating some yummy sweet potatos! Bananas and apples are a couple other foods we've introduced at this point. I've been having a blast making his food.

And lastly, we have a little acrobat on our hands. Over the past couple of weeks Clark has been moving all over the crib, sleeping on his side, sleeping on his tummy and most recently I found him in this position trying to get settled in. It cracks me up to see him moving all around!
Stay tuned for more household happenings, there is always something new going on around here!

Daddy's Day

We celebrated Brian's very FIRST Father's Day yesterday! I know he could not be happier than to be a daddy to baby Clark. And I could not be more proud of the father he is! Many memories await this father/son duo!
We also celebrated our very own father's yesterday. Our gift to dad this year was extra special...
Welcome to the family "Whaler" - we are so glad you are here!

Happy Father's Day!

Clark Morrison Monthly (5)

Happy 5 Months to our baby boy! We did a little photo shoot to document Clark's growth. I feel so torn about him getting older, I sometimes wish I could freeze time because I know they are only this little for so long but on the other hand I look forward to what each new day brings. Every day he is showing more and more of his personality and doing more and more in terms of development - it is lots of fun! We love you Clark!

In Clark's Words:
-I've started eating solids this week, mommy has given me bananas and sweet potatoes and I love them both.
-I still am waking up a couple of times at night, mommy and daddy keep trying new tricks to get me to sleep all night though :)
-I'm about to "sit-up", I can do it for brief time periods and then I topple over.
-I'm in love with my sister Stella, she is so soft and furry and makes me giggle!
-I've started sleeping on my side and tummy now - its so comfy that way!
-My napping has improved, I am taking mostly hour long naps 2-3 times a day with a usual cat-nap in the evening.
-I love to giggle!

The Sweetest Sound

I've anxiously waited until the day we would hear Clark giggle. To me there is just nothing sweeter than this sound. We finally got our first laugh a couple of weeks ago at the beach, but here is a little clip of what we are hearing now more regularly!
(please excuse the noise I myself am making...the things we do to make our children smile)

FOUR

4 years of marriage is what Brian and I celebrated a few days ago. We attended Mike and Kim's wedding in Jacksonville, FL and decided to make a pit stop on the way down in Savannah, GA for old times sake and to celebrate our anniversary! Brian popped the question at the Westin in the picture below, so we have lots of memories in Savannah. June 2, 2007 was such a special day for us and I am thankful more and more each day for my husband. He is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him!

I don't have any photos from the wedding, but it was held a the Cummer Museum right on the waterway, absolutely stunning views! We had fun catching up with old friends and hanging with our pals the Yows and Olivers! This was also our first time being away from our baby for more than 24 hours, we COULD NOT WAIT to get home to him. We missed his smiles!

Memorial Day Weekend

Hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend! We hit the beach on Friday morning and spent time with family and friends at the shore. Clark and I even got to spend a few days with Logan and Riley - we had so much fun catching up! Thank you Sullivans for having us!
